Here I Am

“I can’t believe that it’s real”  the way launching a business of this magnitude has made me feel. Talk about taking a constructive and practical approach from my experience and continuing my education. I take one entrepreneurship class, and here I am doing my own thing lol ! 😅It’s cool though, I had “a burning deep down inside” to do something of this nature for some years now, the idea came out of hiding as I pressed forward with what was set before me.

“A love that I cannot hide” is my enjoyment to work purposefully using my mind, soul, education, and spirit for the greater good. I’m a simple man and I believe my contribution to doing my part in the world is what “makes the world go round”🌍.  In the midst of doing my part it’s “layin’ all my troubles down”.

“Here I am”, hoping to take new startups and small businesses by the hand and show them how their financial forecasts depict the story executive produced by them. I can be honest when I don’t  have all the answers, it’s not for me to have, and I’m ok with that. However, the answers and experience I do have can level up enterprise’s way of thinking about the financial health of their business for the short/long term. 🔎

I guess “it always ends up this way”, navigating a new journey unforeseen, but prepared for the adventure. Who knew the seeds I dropped during the COVID-19 pandemic assisting businesses pro-bono would come full circle to this moment. “Hey look at us, look at us, who would’ve thought, not me” (Hot Ones reference with Paul Rudd) lol !

“That makes the world go round”🌎 I suppose, entrepreneurship has “come and taken me by the hand, squeezing me”. This is the part where I ask for “a helping hand” from my colleagues and peers in my network, I’m sure they’ll do the best they can. “But it don’t take much from me”. My cup of ambition and passion runneth over, all this desire to assist others while simultaneously helping myself is a real treat🍫. When startups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses tell me all their troubles, “you won’t ever have to worry no no”, that’s why we sign a NDA  before I start working on the respective financial model forecast. “You can’t just trust everybody you see”, that’s what Al Green said.

This blog post was inspired by an Al Green classic “Here I Am” and I make reference to a few of the lyrics in this post. The song came on my Pandora Anita Baker radio and when I heard it, I was like yeah, here I am, I’m here at your service. Teach me (Al Green high pitch voice) !!!!!
