International Development to Me (I.D.M.)

Beyond the ordinary in which I was raised and more that meets the eye from what can be consumed through the tv is a world that’s vast, full of life, and inspiration that lights a fire in me to contribute to the world for the better

Experience of different cultures, customs, behaviors, and countries to find the common denominators in our daily lives that initiates a genuine smile with sincereness knowing we may never cross paths again, but realizing our efforts to get to this point are well received

Service stretching beyond my imagination, academia, and training that generates the power of innovation and creativity developing a new normal that makes a difference in society for generations that goes beyond my lifespan seven fold

Knowledge sharing and respectable observance of what’s best for the environment. Improvement that has no bias to historical practices and seeking out the best way forward that benefits everyone involved

Goodwill, fighting the good fight against obstacles or circumstances you or me had absolutely no input on when we were created on this earth. However, the will to make things work for the better unites us as a force to deliver one another from shortcomings to prosperity to steady the development of the world

Camaraderie, exchanging stories, insights, expertise with one another informally that becomes the best substance for brainstorming, advocating, and seeing results of jokingly what seemed impossible become possible

People, it begins and ends with people that has an effect on all things we lay our hands on from animals to the natural soil we walk on, and to the air we breathe. 

I will stay the course however way it leads, when it’s all over I know that I’ve done my part, that’s what International Development Means to Me.
